Style-Based Recommendations In Fashion
Traditionally, machine learning techniques have been used to improve recommendations in various industries. Our focus will be on the fashion industry, specifically e-tailers who center their business model around recommender systems.
During this talk, we will analyze a real-life scenario, discuss solutions for issues regarding user taste and style, inventory coverage, diversity and real-time recommendations for e-commerce and cross-sales.
The emphasis will be made on machine learning explainability and how understanding the role of different filters in the neural network can improve these recommendations.
